The Rampage Derby has also been called the Rampage Civil War.  While the games are not always civil, hopefully they take place with less casualties than any war.

The origination of the Rampage Derby dates back to the spring of 2004 when a number of the players were looking for a weekly pickup option.  While looking in the Arlington area, we found a small-sided enclosed training facility called Gumball Park.  The gumballs were plenty and the fences gave us some built-in hazards to avoid.  While we got our weekly chances to touch the soccer ball, much effort was put into developing our nutmeg skills and everyone strived to embarrass their teammates as elegantly and frequently as possible.  We eventually transitioned this informal derby over to the legitimate Rampage Derby.

The last informal Rampage Derby leading up to the official games was held outside the continent when we took a team to Iceland.  After arriving in Iceland and enjoying the nightlife and lively soccer play, we held the 1st Ever Icelandic Rampage Derby at 2am on Tuesday, October 5th.  It was an outdoor, unlit, small-sided format and we cannot provide roster information because it was impossible to tell who was on what team.  We also could not keep an accurate score, but it’s doubtful that anyone would remember the score anyway.  We didn't award an MPV, but if we had...it probably should have gone to Ryan Borck for his hard play…in a strange circumstance, the LVP would also have gone to Ryan Borck, who through his hard play succeeded in injuring himself and no one else.

The following derby matches are more official and allow for more bragging rights by those involved.  Information includes date and time, location, game format, final score, and winning team roster.
